Don't worry guys, I've had a lot on but I've been lurking around in the background. Had a couple of problems as well, major IT failure (dunno if it was a virus or what?) that resulted in having to do a full hard drive wipe and re install. Then just to add to things I'm just home after a week in hospital, burst appendix! Dull pain in the stomach for a couple of days then started throwing up. Went to the doctor who told me it was just a gastric bug, a couple of hours later I was hit by the most excruciating pain I've ever had. No warning, it came on just like somebody had flicked a switch, been told that was the infected appendix actually bursting! Ambulance, pumped full of morphine, hospital, battery of tests then in the operating theatre within hours. Unnerving to be told my appendix was the worst they'd seen for a long time, gangrenous and perforated, had I delayed calling the ambulance could have been a whole different ball game! Anyway, back home again and recovering. Finished the heavy duty antibiotics but still on the painkillers for the pain/discomfort from the surgery itself. Don't let anyone tell you keyhole surgery is less painful  Trouble is kinda confined to the house coz of all this bloody snow. About 14" here, I'm in no fit state to try to dig the car out. |

Guys, I may be absent for a while, at least not contributing. I lost my father a few weeks ago and now I'm on the point of losing my mother as well. She wasn't well anyway and since we lost my father she has gone downhill terrifyingly quickly.
