Here goes, I'll try to keep it as simple as I can:
Firstly the picture has to be online somewhere, there are many free picture hosting site to choose from, photobucket, flickr etc.
Go to your picture hosting site and bring up the picture you want to post. Somewhere on the page will be the picture's URL, right click and copy.
Back in here again where you compose a message, above the angry smiley and below the letter S with the line through it is an icon, it looks like a small photo, click on that and this will appear in your message [*img][*/img]. Click in the middle of that, between the two brackets ][ . Right click and paste the URL you copied from the hosting site between the brackets. You should end up with something like this [*img]http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3034/2472643601_06296f341c_o.jpg[*/img], of course it will be your picture's URL that will be there, just using one of mine as an example.
That's it, the picture will appear in your preview and final message when you post it.
Please note, I had to add * in [*img] and [*/img] or they would not show up in these instructions. They will not be there when you do it for real.
