Thank You for all the years you have done what you do so well God Bless you and your family and to live a long and healthy life .......................
by the way my Father passed away on April 14, 2000 I just figured that out and made the connection yesterday ..............

Does anybody else find it depressing that nobody is coming forward to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Ritchie? None of the guitar greats are getting any younger, that's Ritchie 66 now, Beck & Page are a similar age, Gary Moore is gone, there's nobody stepping up to take their place.

steve,
the one problem i find is things like guitar hero and younger ones saying well thats playing guitar ................... so me I love to mess with people and say play this and they cant because its not push button at that point i ask if they would like to learn to play guitar .............. so that is it in a nutshell.................

Tough times for the real guitar heroes. There are some great players around ( Joe Bonamassa to name only one ), but they don't have the charisma of Blackers,Page,Beck,Slash, etc. Therefore they are cataloged under good/great/amazing guitar player. I think that music is like fashion. It's turning and when 360° are fullfilled, there might be some new none MAC/PC guitar heroes coming,hopefully  |
