Oh yes, I saw that tour, and he was so bloody loud and trebly. You can't imagine. I remember the headache this gig left me for 2 days and my ears are still bleeding This was his Bill Lawrence aera and may be well seen on Truth Hurts at 3:37 min. Real nice sound although not necessary my favourite but very interesting Anyway, you're right, the MTC is good to be heard at the end of this song.

Even though the pups are different, his tone here sounds almost like his album tone on Difficult to Cure which I absolutely love. Does anyone know which pups he used on DTC?
Maybe you were in the firing line or the acoustics were bad in the venue causing excessive treble?(I have suffered this problem myself with my own gear).
I think his tone here is one of the best live tones I have hear him have.

For the Recording of DTC I don't know which ones he used as sometimes he used even stock guitars for recordings But live as I saw this tour as well, it were the Schecters ;D Well, I saw lots of concerts ( Aerosmith, etc. )in this venue and it was only with him, that I or better my ears had problems Anyway, I'll always remember it
